The Ripper.Prowling through the cobblestones, mist hung thick in the light & any stars above were turned away from the darkest of nights. Ragged men swarmed the houses; women looked on unconcerned. But outside the girls were waiting on corners; all of them ready to earn. When drunk they’d approach & smile while viciously pulling their skirts. & after only minutes, would throw a few coins in the dirt. But across the path stood a carriage & inside sat a gentleman, lurking. It wasn’t until the sun arose that any of the girls would stop working. & as her stomach was empty & as the moon was still waning,The Ripper.
